Archers Pick Up Key Win At State Fair

The STLCC women's soccer team traveled to Sedalia, MO to take on State Fair CC in a key early season Region 16 and MCCAC match. The tightly played match remained scoreless at the end of regulation. In the second overtime, Lily Sporleder was able to find the back of the net on a pass from Maria Jose Gomez for the win. Mia Kristensen picked up the shutout win in net for the Archers.
With the win over State Fair, STLCC moved to 3-1 overall, 2-0 in Region 16 play and 3-0 in MCCAC play. The Archers will return to action on Wednesday, April 14 at East Central College.
