Bio
Tanner Kuehn enters his first season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Louis Community College, bringing a dynamic blend of collegiate and professional playing experience, along with a proven track record of coaching success at the junior college level.
Kuehn most recently served as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Prairie State College (2023–2025), where he led the program to its first 20-win season in over a decade. Under his leadership, the team produced multiple All-Conference selections and two All-Region honorees. Prior to that, he spent four seasons (2019–2023) as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Prairie State, helping guide the team to a 2019 Illinois Skyway Conference Championship and a Region IV runner-up finish. That same year, he coached the nation’s leading scorer, who earned NJCAA All-American honors.
Kuehn’s coaching philosophy centers on using the game of basketball as a platform to teach life lessons and prepare student-athletes for success beyond the court. He is deeply committed to player development, both athletically and personally.
