Archers Fall To North Central In Region 16 Opener

The STLCC women's basketball team returned to action on Saturday, January 22 against #17 North Central Missouri College. In Saturday's Region 16 matchup, the Archers played the nationally ranked Pirates close early and trailed by a score of 34-30 at the half.
In the second half, NCMC was able to pull away in route to an 80-57 win over the Archers. STLCC was led offensively by Jayla McLemore (14 points) and Courtney Lumpkins (12 points).
With the loss to NCMC, STLCC's overall record dropped to 3-6 overall. The Archers will return to action on Monday, January 24 at #2 ranked Three Rivers College for a MCCAC Conference matchup. Monday's game is set to tip at 6pm.
