The Archers men's soccer team continued to make strides on becoming a better team, with a solid defensive effort that led to a 1-0 victory over Jefferson College, in Hillsboro on Sunday afternoon.
The Archers defense held Jefferson to four shots on goal throughout the ninety minutes, which allowed Tyler Demoulin to notch his second shutout in three starts this season. With the defense putting in the work, the Archers got on the scoreboard in the fourty-first minute on Chris Eduardo's second goal of the season, on a free kick just outside the box that found the back of the net.
St. Louis Community College improves to 8-0-2 on the season, and 3-0-1 in Region 16 play. The Archers look to continue the momentum heading to Union, MO on Wednesday afternoon to face East Central College with a 4:00 pm start.
