NCMC Defeats STLCC In Regional Tournament

The STLCC men's basketball team took on North Central Missouri College in the Region 16 Tournament Semifinal game on Thursday, March 24 at Lincoln University in Jefferson City.  In Thursday's matchup, the Archers were able to stay within striking distance at the half, trailing the Pirates 39-31.  In the second half, NCMC found their stride offensively and defeated STLCC by a final score of 88-61.

The loss to NCMC ended STLCC's season at 5-14.  Three Archers were named the Region 16 All-Region Basketball Team following the tournament.  Freshman guard Doreante Tucker was named 1^st Team All-Region.  Tucker was joined on the team by freshman guard Anias Futrell (2^nd Team All-Region) and freshman guard James Ross (2^nd Team All-Region).
