Archers Open Season With Win Over Missouri Baptist

The STLCC men's basketball team opened the 2021-2022 season with a win over Missouri Baptist University JV on Tuesday, November 9. In Tuesday's game, the Archers found a rythm early on and took a 53-16 lead into the half. In the second half, the scoring continued for STLCC in route to a 102-31 win. The Archers defense forced a total of 36 turnovers against the Spartans. Leading the way for STLCC were James Ross (24 points), Anias Futrell (17 points), Tray Robinson (13 points, 10 rebounds) and Todd Bieg (10 points).
With the win over Missouri Baptist JV, the Archers begin the season at 1-0. STLCC will return to action on Saturday, November 13 when they travel to Lincoln Land CC for a 3:00pm tip.
