STLCC Falls to #16 NCMC

The STLCC men's basketball team dropped a close game to #16 North Central Missouri College on Saturday, March 20.
STLCC and North Central battled in a tightly played first half and the Archers took a 25-24 lead into halftime. In the second half, the game remained close throughout, but the visiting Pirates pulled away late to defeat STLCC by a final of 68-65.
The Archers were led offensively by David Jones (20 points) and Ahian Barnett (14 points). Jacques Thomas also pulled down 10 rebounds to lead STLCC.
The Archers currently sit at 9-12 following a loss on Wednesday, March 24 to Moberly Area CC. STLCC returns to action on Sunday, March 28 at home against State Fair CC. Sunday's game is set for a 3:00pm tip.
