STLCC Wins Region Opener Over MCC

The Archers traveled to Kansas City, MO on Saturday, February 20 to take on Metropolitan CC to open Region 16 play. After a tightly played first half, STLCC was able to pull away late and defeat the Wolves by a final of 71-67.
STLCC got offensive contributions from nine different players in Saturday's win, including 22 points and seven rebounds from Kameryn Hubbard and 10 points from Ahian Barnett. The Archers also shot 45.3 % from the field as a team.
With the win over Metropolitan CC, STLCC moves to 5-4 overall and 1-0 in Region 16 play. The Archers will be back in action on Tuesday, February 23 at home vs Culver-Stockton College JV. Tuesday's game is set to tip at 3:00pm.
