Archers Upset #9 John Wood CC At Home

The STLCC men's basketball team collected their biggest win of the season on Saturday, February 6 against 9th ranked John Wood CC. In Saturday's game, STLCC used smothering defense to take a 34-21 lead into the half. In the second half, the Archers offense caught fire and STLCC took down the Blazers by a final score of 74-52.  STLCC shot 43.3% from behind the arc in the win. 

Four Archers scored in double figures, including Kameryn Hubbard (15 points), David Jones (13 points), Doreante Tucker (11 points) and Jacques Thomas (11 points).  Trayvon Robinson pulled down 11 rebounds off the bench to lead STLCC.

The Archers move to 3-3 on the season following the win over nationally ranked John Wood. STLCC returns to action on Monday, February 8 at home vs Missouri Baptist JV. Monday's game will tip at 7:00pm.
