STLCC Archers Earn NJCAA Region 16 All-Region Honors
The St. Louis Community College Archers baseball program has placed four standout student-athletes on the 2025–26 NJCAA Region 16 All-Region Teams, highlighted by a First Team selection, two Second Team honorees, and one All-Defense Team pick.
Leading the way for the Archers is Nick Bonczkowski, who earned First Team All-Region 16 honors following an exceptional offensive season. Bonczkowski appeared in 47 games, tallying 60 hits and 49 runs scored while driving in 27 RBIs. He posted a .375 batting average, a .441 on-base percentage, and an impressive .650 slugging percentage, including 16 doubles and eight home runs.
"Nick was a catalyst for our offense all season," said Head Coach Scott Goodrich. "His ability to consistently produce at the plate and come through in big situations made him one of the most dangerous hitters in our region."
The Archers also landed two players on the Second Team All-Region 16, including pitcher Eddie Ahearn. Ahearn delivered a strong season on the mound, compiling a 5–2 record with one save across 56.0 innings pitched. He struck out 59 batters and posted a 4.66 ERA, averaging 9.48 strikeouts per nine innings while maintaining a 1.27 WHIP.
"Eddie gave us toughness and reliability every time he stepped on the mound," Goodrich said. "He competed relentlessly, filled up the strike zone, and kept us in games against some of the toughest competition we faced."
Joining Ahearn on the Second Team is infielder Mac Floyd, who turned in an outstanding offensive campaign. Floyd played in 51 games, collecting 57 hits, scoring 56 runs, and driving in 57 RBIs. He hit .326 with a .425 on-base percentage and a powerful .720 slugging percentage, belting 28 doubles, 13 triples, and 18 home runs.
"Mac had one of the most complete offensive seasons we've seen," Goodrich said. "His power, run production, and ability to impact the game in multiple ways made him invaluable to our lineup."
Defensively, Bryce Haines was recognized on the NJCAA Region 16 All-Defense Team for his stellar play in the field. Haines recorded 95 putouts and 2 assists with just one error over 98 defensive chances, good for a .990 fielding percentage.
"Bryce anchored our defense with consistency and confidence," Goodrich added. "He made routine plays look easy and came up with big defensive stops when we needed them most."
The Archers' four All-Region selections underscore a strong 2025–26 season and reflect the program's continued growth and competitiveness within Region 16.
