St. Louis Community College women's basketball got an important win opening up Region 16 play on the road at Cottey College on Monday afternoon 72-60, in Region 16 play though they are all big. Ellisha Davis score 20 points, including hitting 10-11 free throws, to pace the Archers on the offensive side, while collecting 7 rebounds, 3 steals and adding 3 assists.  Erica Waeltermann added fifteen points, while connecting on 4-6 three point shots, and Shamiah Oliver netted 14 points, while dishing out 3 assists in the twelve point victory.  

Chrishana Wilson and Alfreda Roberts each collected 9 rebounds to lead the Archers on the glass.  The Archers improve to 9-7 on the year and 1-0 in Region 16 play and host Morthland College on Wednesday at 5:30 pm on the Forest Park campus.
