Archers Roll to Their 10th Win

While the weather might have cooled off a bit in St. Louis on Friday afternoon, the St. Louis Community College Men's Soccer team remained hot on the Meramec Campus, rolling to a 7-0 victory over Malcolm X College to up their record to 10-0-2 on the year.  

The Archers got on the board in the twenty-third minute of the match on a perfect cross, from Trystin Nance, and header from Matt Schneider.  From there, the goals came quickly as Connor Summerhill scored one minute later on another assist from Nance.  Chidera Ude collected his first of three goals in the match twenty seven seconds later on a penalty kick, the first of two penalty kicks for the Ude on the afternoon.  Two minutes after halftime, Ude collected his second goal aided by a Colin Moran assist and one minute later, Casey Bartlett-Scott added an unassisted goal.  Adam Du Toit scored in the sixty-fourth minute, assisted by Michael York to make the score 6-0 and Ude added his second PK of the match to close out the scoring.  

The Archers received a combined shutout in goal from Tyler Demoulin and Melvin Wilson, the fourth shutout of the season for STLCC.  Up next for the Archers is a trip to Galesburg, IL and matchup with Carl Sandburg College on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
