Harrell and Rigmaiden Lead Gritty Archers to Tight Win

St. Louis Community College Men's Basketball team got to see where they are at from a toughness standpoint on Wednesday night when Kansas City Kansas Community College visited the Forest Park campus and they liked what they saw.  The Archers came away with a hard fought 52-48 victory over a team that competed at the NJCAA Division 2 National Tournament last season.  Sophomores DaVante Harrell and Sean Rigmaiden each poured in 15 points, with Harrell adding a team high nine rebounds and Rigmaiden adding four steals on the night.

STLCC outrebound KCKCC 44-32 on the night, including limiting them to eight offensive rebounds on the night and also had 12 steals on the night while improving to 5-0 on the season.  The Archers return to action at home on the Forest Park campus on Saturday at 3:00 pm vs. Arkansas State Mid-South.
